General safety information for all unit versions

Please read the following information prior to putting the unit and its batteries
into operation for the first time in order to ensure compliance with the intended
use and with environmental protection rules as well as safety, reliability and
system performance.

Approval and EC conformity

Funkwerk Security Communications GmbH herewith declares that the product D4 Office,
meets the basic requirements and other relevant regulations of Directive 1999/5/EC (Ra-
dio & Telecommunication Terminal Equipment, R&TTE).
The units are intended for being connected to radio interfaces (DECT™) of our
Mobility Servers and, due to their design, are not suited for direct connection to
interfaces of public telecommunication networks.
The item „Mobility Server" is our commmon designation for a system-compa-
tible private branch exchange comprising DECT™ features, Mobility Server
Integral I55, for example.
Please contact your dealer or our service department first if there are any pro-
blems or troubles in operating your unit.
This equipment works according to the DECT™ system in the frequency range
between 1880 MHz and 1900 MHz.
