Putting into operation
modifying phone book entries, this will result in a modification of the
phone book memory on the FC4 or IH4 MEM Card only!
Registering a handset to further telephone systems during opera-
tion with a D3 or FC1 MEM card:
If you would like to register a D4 Office to a further compatible tele-
phone system you have to proceed as follows:
Remove the MEM card temporarily from the D4 Office and insert it into
a corresponding D3 / FC1 handset. Now log on the D3 / FC1 handset
to the required telephone system. Finally, insert the MEM card into
your D4 Office again. From now on you can operate your D4 Office
with one of the telephone systems, the handset is registered to, accor-
ding to your needs.
Registering a handset to further telephone systems during opera-
tion with an FC4 or IH4 MEM card:
You can register a D4 Office with an inserted MEM card from an FC4
or IH4 handset to a further compatible telephone system at any time,
as you are familiar with from any handset type FC4 or IH4.
As soon as you remove the D3, FC1, FC4 or IH4 MEM card from a
D4 Office again ...
the handset D4 Office will use its own identity represented by its own IPEI
(International Portable Equipment Identifier) again
the handset D4 Office will use the entries of the phone book presently avai-
lable from its own local handset memory. These entries comprise the con-
tent copied from the D3 / FC1 MEM card as well as the modifications of the
telephone book entries having been carried out during operation of the
D4 Office with D3 or FC1 MEM card inserted.
Note: Phone book entries from an FC4 or IH4 MEM card and all modificati-
ons having been carried out during operation of the D4 Office with FC4 or
IH4 MEM card inserted, are exclusively stored on the FC4 / IH4 MEM card!
These phone book entries are not available when operating the D4 Office
without MEM card!
