Note: It is not possible to cut holes in toughened glass or double glazed units except at the time of manufacture. Please
consult a glazier. When installing the Passport
considered. It is recommended to install the Cat Flap in glass that is at least 3 mm thick, and the glass pane should be no
wider than 815 mm. The minimum size of a glass pane appropriate for this Cat Flap is 407 mm wide by 445 mm high.
Instructions
1. Determine location for the Cat Flap:
a. Measure and mark cat's belly height
on the glass. If this point is not at least
87 mm from the bottom edge of the
glass framing, raise the belly height
mark to 87 mm. Create a level line on
the glass at this mark.
b. Choose a location for the Cat Flap
across the width of the glass at least
200 mm from the left and right edges
of the glass framing. Mark this point on
the belly height line. Note: Distances
can be larger than these, but not any
smaller.
c. From this point on the belly height line,
create a vertical line upward using a
level.
d. Measure 1 17 mm up the vertical line.
This point will become the centre of the
cutout. From this centre point, ensure
the minimum distances to the four sides
of the glass framing are met:
• To the top – 242 mm
• To left and right sides – 200 mm
• To the bottom – 204 mm
