Measuring the air temperature
The temperature sensor installed in the Clima Check conti-
nuously determines the air temperature. The value is shown as
a real-time measurement in the display
Measuring the relative air humidity (rel. humidity)
The relative air humidity in % indicates how much humidity the
air has assumed at a definite temperature.
Measuring the dew point temperature (dew temp.)
The warmer the air, the more humidity it can assume. If this
temperature cools down below the dew point, condensati-
on will occur, becoming visible in moisture misting. The dew
point temperature depends on the air temperature and the
relative air humidity. Clima Check automatically determines
the dew point temperature from said values. The dew point
temperature must not exceed or drop below a limit value
during the curing phase of coats (risk of subsequent comp-
laints).
Measuring the material humidity with temperature compen-
sation
Wood and other building materials exhibit a different conducti-
vity at different temperatures. Clima Check allows an incorpo-
ration of the temperature of the measured material into moi-
sture measurements using the HPM touch pro to obtain even
more precise measurement results.
• Proceed as described above to measure the moisture and
determine the ambient values
• Save the determined ambient values in the device archive.
The process is identical to that for saving moisture measure-
ments.
• Open the already determined ambient values from the
device archive prior to normal moisture measurements to
achieve maximum precision.
