Adapting the Clima Check to ambient temperature
The Clima Check dew point and temperature sensor must not
be used to determine accurate ambient condition values until
the device itself has adapted to the air temperature. Therefo-
re we recommend that the sensor is first unpacked and left
for some minutes to acclimatise itself before any readings
are taken. The Clima Check dew point and temperature sen-
sor requires approximately one minute per degree Celsius to
adapt to changes in the ambient temperature. Turbulence in
the ambient air can accelerate this acclimatisation process
(fig. 1).
