Device description - Setup / initial operation
The device is delivered in a transport and storage box.
Do not use the cutting guide (13) to lift the device out of the box. Instead, hold the device by the base plate
(12), lift it slightly and rest the front of the base (cutting guide facing upwards) on the edge of the transport
and storage box.
Now remove the stand (1) from the box and assemble it as shown in the illustration (a) by using the supplied screws (2).
Now lift the device by the base plate and position it at the desired location.
If the device is to be set up on scaffolding (recommended), erect it so that it is positioned centrally in the immediate vi-
cinity of the work area. The device is always leant against a wall, meaning that the space between the wall and scaffold
board is used.
To do this, loosen both of the screws (16) on the rear support and set the desired angle of the support (14). Check to ensure
the device is sturdy and secure.
Now loosen the screw for the mitre angle (17) and fold the cutting guide (13) fully to the left. The bow is now positioned
at 90° to the base plate (12). Retighten the screw (17).
Now pull the cutting guide (13) towards itself. The cutting guide folds upwards at the same time until it arrives at its
stop. The cutting guide is now fully open, thereby enabling boards with a maximum thickness of 30 cm to be processed.
The device is now ready for use.
