There are som e risks which m ust be taken into
account when operating your solid fuel fireplace,
regardless of the m ake. T hese risks m ay be
m inimized if the instructions and recomm endations
provided in this m anual are followed.
Below, is a series of recommended rules and tips,
but above all, we recom mend that comm on sense
is used:
a ) Keep all flamm able materials, such as furniture,
curtains, clothing, etc. at a minim um safety
distance of 0.92 m.
b) Ash should be em ptied into a m etal container
and imm ediately removed from the house.
c) Liquid fuels should never be used to light your
fireplace. Keep any flamm able liquids away from
the fireplace (Petrol, kerosene, alcohol, etc.).
d) Regularly inspect the chim ney and clean it as
required. Likewise, check the condition of the
gaskets, glass, screw s, etc.
e) It should not be positioned close to flamm able
walls or which have any type of coating which is
likely to deteriorate or becom e deformed due to
temperature (varnishes, paint, etc.). The same
precaution should be taken with the hot air
grilles, which should not be positioned on
flamm able elements.
f) Protect hands with gloves or other insulating
m aterial, as the opening and closing controls get
hot during operation.
When installing the C-10 stack the following
installation recommendations must be followed
for your safety:
T he base where you are going to place the
Fireplace m ust have a flat surface, free of any
unevenness that m ay prevent the fireplace from
resting firmly. The supporting base m ust be made
from heat-resistant m aterials.
T he cavity where the C-10 is inserted must
be completely free of rubble and waste m aterials
that could catch fire while the fireplace is in
operation.
T he entire inside of the cavity where the C-10 is
to be inserted must be suitably insulated or made
from m aterials that
temperatures.
If insulation has to be positioned inside the
cavity, it m ust never block the ventilation grilles.
The insulation should never envelop the
insertable fireplace, w hich w ould cause it to
break

REPLACEMENT OF THE SUPPLY CABLE
If the supply cable is dam aged, it should be
replaced by the m anufacturer, S.A.T . or qualified
personnel in order to avoid risks.
