following compulsory point s:
5. The insulation should neve r be in contact with
the cast iron coat ing of the a pplia nce. This
would preve nt t he heat from the cast iron f rom
being re leased t o the at mosphere a nd hence
the s ubse que nt breaka ge of t he part .
There should be a minimum clearance
between the cast iron and the insulation (this
distance is determined at the factory, using
the protruding length of the M10.
