Note:
When the ERA-G100 is connected to the Alpine
Head unit, the tone control circuit inside the
Head unit will be automatically bypassed.
Therefore, the A.S.C., loudness, treble and bass
controls on the Head unit do not function.
Before Starting Opera-
tion
All of the following operations and adjust-
ments assumed that the ERA-G100 Equal-
izer is Ai-NET connected to an Alpine Head
unit as described on the Guide for Installation
and Connections for the ERA-G100, and that
the Alpine Remote Controller (such as 1101)
is used. When the ERA-G100 is Ai-NET
connected to a Head unit, the tone controls
(Treble/Bass/Loudness/A.S.C.) of the Head
unit will be automatically bypassed.
Switching the
Subwoofer On or Off
Press the A. PROC (Audio Processor)
button on the Head unit or Remote Control-
ler repeatedly until your desired mode
(G-EQ or SURROUND) of the ERA-G100
appears on the Head unit's display. Each
pressing changes the mode;
G-EQ (Graphic Equalizer)

Press the MODE button on the Head unit for
at least 2 seconds to turn the subwoofer on
or off.
