DSP Surround Presets

The ERA-G100 employs the DSP (Digital
Signal Processing) to duplicate mathemati-
cally various listening environments. Six
typical surround settings are provided for a
variety of musical source material as
follows.
Preset No. 1 (NORMAL) Flat
Surround mode OFF.
Preset No. 2 (HALL)
Duplicates the acoustics of a large concert
hall with limited reflections.
Reverberation Level: –2 dB
Reverberation Time: 90 mS
Preset No. 3 (STADIUM)
Duplicates the acoustics of a large outdoor
stadium.
Reverberation Level: –6 dB
Reverberation Time: 231 mS
Preset No. 4 (CHURCH)
Duplicates the acoustics of a large cathedral
with high ceilings and many reflections.
Reverberation Level: –6 dB
Reverberation Time: 1500 mS
Preset No. 5 (DANCE)
Duplicates the acoustics of a dancing hall
with moderate reflections.
Reverberation Level: 0 dB
Reverberation Time: 203 mS
Preset No. 6 (LIVE)
Duplicates the acoustics of a small, intimate
concert hall with few reflections.
Reverberation Level: –2 dB
Reverberation Time: 29 mS
