removal purposes.
CAUTION
Risk of injury when loading the freezer
cabinets. This may result in frostbite to the
hands.
Wear protective gloves during loading.
Cabinets must only be loaded up to the load lim-
it marking attached to the interior of the cabinet
(
see Fig. 4).

The set product storage temperature can no longer be
guaranteed once the load limit marking is exceeded.
The lids may optionally be equipped with a lock. Please
ensure that the keys are not stored in the vicinity of the
cabinet and are kept out of the reach of children.
11. Maintenance, defrosting,
cleaning

11.1 Maintenance

The cabinets are generally maintenance-free. Howev-
er, as described in the subsequent chapters, they must
be defrosted and cleaned.

11.2 Defrosting

- A significant build-up of ice on the interior container
walls may lead to a reduction in performance and a
differing temperature being displayed.
- Depending on the build-up of frost on the interior
container, the layer of frost must be defrosted from
time to time (from experience several times a year) if
it is more than approx. 10 mm thick.
- The build-up of frost (build-up of ice) is mainly de-
pendent on the ambient conditions at the installation
point (atmospheric humidity) and the handling of the
-
cabinet (frequent opening or lid left open). Thin lay-
ers of frost should be scraped off using the plastic ice
scraper that has been provided.
- We recommend combining the complete defrosting
with the cleaning procedure.
NOTE
frost with sharp objects or tools. Risk of damaging
the interior walls.
WARNING
Risk of ignition from sparks.
As a result of potential leaks in the refrig-
eration system of the R-290 or R-600a
refrigerant, the sparks of a vacuum cleaner
or other electrical cabinets may cause the
mixture of gas and air that may form to
ignite accidentally.
Remove the condensation from R-290
or R-600a cabinets either with a dry
towel or with a sponge.
Only use wet vacuum cleaners or
electrical appliances with an explosion
protection marking inside the refriger-
ated cabinet.
