9.2 DIXELL electronic temperature
controller

Cabinet model for D-Ice are equipped with an elec-
tronic temperature controller of type "DIXELL".

can be operated using the keys. Three keys are pro-

All other buttons on the display are blocked for the
operator.
9.2.1 Temperature display
The display shows the internal temperature. The inter-
nal temperature may fl uctuate only between –17 °C
and –19 °C (1.4 °F to –2.2 °F).
If required (depending on the weather or location),
the setpoint of the freezer cabinet can be increased
or decreased by 1 °C (1.8 °F) in order to achieve the
required internal temperature.
See the following chapter for more information.
9.2.2 Setting the setpoint
Display the set setpoint:
Press [SET] key
To leave the setpoint display:
Wait 15 sec. or press the [SET] key again.
The actual value is displayed again.
Change the set setpoint:
Press the [SET] key for at least 2 sec. The setpoint is
shown on the display and the LED symbol °C/°F fl ashes.
Next, the setpoint can be increased or decreased with
the [UP]/[DOWN] key. The new setting will be ad-
opted automatically 15 seconds after the last key has
been pressed or by pressing the [SET] key.
9.2.3 Error message and acknowledge-
ment
An alarm is displayed in alternation with the tempera-
ture through an error code * (fl ashing display) (
table below). There is also the option of outputting an
acoustic signal through an additional buzzer that has
been installed.
