NIT SERVICING
A periodic servicing between each cooling and
heating seasons is to schedule, particularly for
elements
favourable to dirtying : filte, drain
pan, coil, condensate pump ...
Before removing the body and performing any
intervention inside the unit, switch off unit by
switching off the electricity supply.
AIR FILTER SERVICING
– Insert the supplied key inside the grille support
notch. Orientate the key near outside of the unit
to unclip the support. (11a)
– Once uncliped the both supports, the grille can
stay hooked to the panel
– The filter by choice can be removed by the front
or the rear (11b). Two security points can be
uncatched to facilitate the operation.
The filter is indispensable for correct operation; if its
operation is degraded, the exchanger coil can
become clogged.
We preconise its exchange between each working
season. In case of a monthly servicing schedule the
filter should be cleaned by vacuuming in the
opposite direction to the air flow.
The
interval
between
considerably depending upon the nature of the
room and installation conditions.
WATER COIL SERVICING
The clean state of the coil is a positive factor for
proper output of the unit :
- Disconnect the water coil, and the drain pan
piping.
- Take down the coil and the drain pan by
unscrewing the 4 screws (fig.8c), and slide the
complete element to the outside.
- The coil can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
FAN ASSEMBLY SERVICING
Fan assembly dismounting principle (fig.12) :
After the inlet grille removed (see filter servicing),
disconnect the wiring block after the unit is switched
off.
Unscrew and remove only 2 or 3 screws (fig.12a).
Pull down the fan assembly to set free from the 2 or
3 others attachments screws.
Take out the fan assembly by the inlet grille section.
Carry out the operation in reverse order to remount
the fan assembly.
Periodically, check the cleaning of fans and motor,
if necessary, clean them by help of a vaccuum
cleaner taking care not to cause damage.
Electric motor do not require particular servicing.
