Note: With this equipment only media may be regulated, whose
flash point lies over the adjusted safety temperature delimination
of the used magnet agitator and/or heating system.
The instrument may not be operated in rooms with explosion
hazard.
The stainless steel temperature sensor may not be operated
because of corrosion danger in aggressive media such as acids or
caustic solutions or distilled water. Use for this the glass sensor.
Please make shure that the spiral cable does not contact the hea-
ting plate.
Caution when affecting the temperature sensor!
Burn danger! The temperature sensor can become hot in the
medium up to 400°C !

Corect use

12 The IKATRON ETS-D4 fuzzy is an instrument for
the precise control of temperatures. The sensor
12
of the instrument must be immersed at least
18 / 19
20mm deep in the medium to be tempered.
The instrument can be connected to any
magnetic agitator with contact thermometer
connection which conforms with the
requirements listed in the Technical Data
(see section Technical Data).
Unpacking
Please unpack the machine carefully and inspect for damage. It is
important that any transit damage should be noted at the time of
unpacking. In certain circumstances it may be necessary to in-
vestigate immediately (post, rail or freight forwarder).
As supplied, the package contains: one IKATRON ETS-D4 fuzzy
and one set of operating instructions
