Problem
The lid is difficult to
open.
The lamp does not

Food packages are block-
ing the lid.
The lid gaskets are dirty or
sticky.

tightly or it is not shut prop-
erly.
Before freezing the appli-
ance was not precooled
sufficiently.
Large quantities of food to
be frozen were put in at the
same time.
Food placed in the appli-
ance was too warm.
Products to be frozen are
placed too closely to each
other.
The lid has been opened
often.
The lid has been opened
for a long time.
The temperature is not set
correctly.
Plug is not connected to
the mains socket properly.
Power does not reach the
appliance.
The appliance is not
switched on.

Solution
Arrange the packages in the
right way, see the sticker in
the appliance.
Clean the lid gaskets.
Check the valve.
Refer to "Replacing the
lamp".
Set a lower temperature.
Check if the lid closes well
and the gasket is undam-
aged and clean.
Pre-cool the appliance for
enough time.
Wait some hours and then
check the temperature
again. Next time insert
smaller quantities of food to
be frozen at any one time.
Allow food to cool to room
temperature before storing.
Place the products in a way
so that cold air could circu-
late among them.
Try to not open the lid often.
Do not leave the lid open
longer than necessary.
Set a warmer temperature.
Connect the mains plug
properly.
Try connecting another elec-
trical device to the power
outlet.
Switch on the appliance.
