Proper intended use

The device is designed to recognise
whether a connected hob is switched
on and for communication of the
information to the connected extractor
hood.
This manual describes the installation,
connection to the hob and connection
with the extractor hood.
 Observe the hob manual.
 Observe the extractor hood
instructions.
It is only permitted to use the device
when it is in technically flawless
condition and after correct installation.
Any other use shall be considered
improper use.
Reading and observing this manual are
also part of the proper use of the device.

Authorised target groups

Electrical work only to be undertaken by
qualified electricians per DIN VDE 0100.
Requirements on qualified electricians:
y Knowledge of the basics of electrics.
y Knowledge of country-specific
regulations and standards (e.g. in
Germany, DIN VDE 0100, part 701).
y Knowledge of the applicable safety
regulations.
y Knowledge of the relevant legal
requirements for gas installations
(e.g. in Germany the technical rules
for gas installations TRGI).
y Knowledge of this manual.
