GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Risks. Read and understand the safety
instructions before connecting,
disconnecting, charging, using or
maintaining the tool, and before
replacing accessories on the tool or
working near the tool. Failure to do so can
result in serious personal injury.
Keep your fingers away from the trigger
when not working with the tool and when
moving from one position to the next.
Keep your hands and other parts of your
body away from the direction of firing,
and make sure that fasteners cannot pass
through the workpiece into your body.
Note that fasteners can change direction
and cause personal injury when the tool is
in use.
Keep the tool in a firm grip and watch out
for recoil.
The nailer must only be used by
technically proficient users.
Do not modify the nailer. Modifications
can reduce the effect of the safety devices
and increase the risk to both the user
and/or persons nearby.
Information for tools intended to be used
on hard surfaces such as steel and
concrete concerning the extra downward
force needed to work with the tool and to
prevent it slipping.
Do not discard the safety instructions.
Do not use a tool that is damaged.
Be careful when handling fasteners,
especially when inserting and removing.
Fasteners have sharp points and can
cause personal injury.
Always check the tool before use for
damaged, incorrectly connected or worn
parts.
Do not overreach.
Only use the tool in a safe workplace.
Always keep a good footing and balance.
Keep other persons at a safe distance

Never point the tool at yourself or anyone
else.
Only wear gloves that ensure sufficient
sensitivity and safe control of the trigger
and adjusters.
Always use the support handle (if there is
one).
RISK OF FLYING FASTENERS
Disconnect the nailer before removing
fasteners, adjusting, attending to
fasteners that have got stuck, or replacing
accessories.
Make sure that the fastener penetrates
the material correctly and cannot change
direction or be fired towards the user and/
or persons nearby.
Material from the workpiece, the drive
system or the holding material can be
ejected during the work.
Always use impact resistant eye protection
and side guards when using the tool.
The user must assess the risk to other
persons.
Be careful when using tools without a
safety brace. They can be fired
unintentionally and injure the user and/or
persons nearby.
Make sure to always use the tool safely on
the workpiece and that it cannot slip.
