Switching the mower on/off - Premio 40 AC (Fig. B5/B6/B9)
Checking the charge
To check the charge of the battery, set switch (A) briefly on and off. Do not leave switch (A) on (Fig. B5).
- Switch on the mower on a flat surface. Not in high grass - if necessary tilt slightly backwards (Fig. B9).
Motor on:
- Insert the key (Fig. B5).
- Press and hold down button (1). Pull safety bar (2). Release the button (Fig. B6).
Motor stop:
- Release safety bar (2, Fig. B6).
Overload
The motor switches off when overloaded.
- Release bar - remove key.
- Rectify the cause of the overload (e.g. change the cutting height in high grass, clean blocked air duct).

Drive on: Pull drive bar (3, Fig. B7).
Set the speed: 1. gear B7 (4) = slow (2 km/h). 2. gear B5 (5) = fast (4 km/h).
Drive off: Release drive bar (3, Fig. B7).
Motor stop: Release safety bar (2, Fig. B7).
Overload
The motor switches off when overloaded.
- Release bar - remove key.
Rectify the cause of the overload (e.g. change the cutting height in high grass, clean blocked air duct, reduce drive speed).

Mowing (fig. B10)
Always let cable trail on the cut side of the lawn. Cable guidance: Place the cable fi r mly off the lawn or on the already cur side
of the lawn when starting to mow.
Emptying of grassbox (fig. B11)
Only when mower is stionary and rotating blade has come to complete standstill.
Box filling indicator: The flap drops down when grassbox is full. To ensure properfunctioning of the indicator it is important that the grilles
below are kept clean using a hand brush.
Emptying of Grassbox (fig. B12)
The grassbox is full and should be emptied as soon as grass clippings remain uncollected on the ground behind your mower.
Note: Disconnect electricity by unplugging cable at the socket-before proceeding.

Cleaning
Note: Remove the key before maintenance and cleaning work. Attention: Keep hands clear of moving blade.
Clean mower thoroughly after each mowing with cloth or brush.
Do not spray with water. Keep mower in a dry room.
Change of Cutter Blades - (fig. W1)
ATTENTION! Change of blades or re-sharpening should only be carried out by an approved service station as the work should include
the proper checking of the blade balance in accordance with safety regulations.
For changing the cutter bar please follow illustration. Torque wrench setting for screw 18–22 Nm. Use original spare parts only.
Winter Storage
Clean mower thoroughly before storing away.
The battery must be fully charged before winter storage! Switch off the charge-status display after charging.
Never spray mower with water and do not store it in a wet or humid place.
Have your mower thoroughly checked once a year by an approved Service Centre.
