Risks of injury
• ATTENTION: Danger of suffocation exists! Keep the device and
packaging material away from children and animals.
• ATTENTION: Swallowing batteries poses a risk of death! There-
fore keep the batteries and machine out of the reach of children
and animals. If a battery has been swallowed, you must seek
immediate medical attention.
For your health
• Pregnant persons should not use the device or only after having
consulted their physician.
• Persons with a pacemaker may only use the device after having
consulted their physician.
• Persons with no feeling in their lumbar spine or upper back or
persons with circulatory disorders may not use the device.
• Do not use the device on areas with swelling or infl amed parts
of the skin.
• If you have concerns relating to your health, consult your physi-
cian before using the device.
• Do not use the device under a blanket or the like in order to
prevent overheating.
• The device should not be used before going to bed. The mas-
sage has a stimulating effect, which may cause problems falling
asleep.
Proper handling of batteries
• Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in the
device and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean
them.
• Use only the battery types specifi ed in the technical data.
• Always replace all batteries. Do not use different battery types,
brands or batteries of different capacitances. When changing
batteries, ensure correct polarity (+/-).
