of the side brush (J) touch the wall.
Walk at an even steady pace and push
the device in front of you.
Depending on the degree of soiling,
apply light to medium pressure on the
surface brush, adapt your pace of work
to the degree of soiling.
NOTE!
If you now wish to clean the other side
in the same direction or seamlessly
clean a corner of the house, you can
convert the device accordingly. To do
so, proceed as follows:
CAuTION! RISk OF INJuRY FROM
RuNNING BRuShING TOOL!
Never lift the device off the ground
whilst switched on during work as
there is danger of entanglement!
Switch the device off by releasing
the ON/OFF safety switch (D).
Loosen the screw connection (G) on
17
the telescopic tube (F) and then use
the telescopic tube (F) to turn the han-
dle (A) by 180° as illustrated. Adjust
the length of the telescopic tube (F)
again according to your body height.
NOTE!
In this work step, you will change the
direction of rotation of the surface
brush (M).
"1." Use the screw connection (G) to
18
tighten the telescopic tube (F) again so
that it is hand-tight. Now turn the
entire device by 180° as shown in the
figure in "2.".
NOTE!
In this work step, you will turn round the
open side of the device, i.e. the side
brush will be turned to the other side.
This once again ensures the correct
direction of rotation of the surface
brush.
CAuTION! RISk OF INJuRY DuE TO
INCORRECT DIRECTION OF
ROTATION OF ThE SuRFACE BRuSh!
The working direction of the device
must ALWAYS be away from you,
so you have to pull.
Now adjust the 5 click-stop safety guard
19
(L) so that the brush strip is just above the
ground and clean the surface facing it.
NOTE!

+
With this method of double-
sided cleaning, you can seam-
lessly work on surfaces that end
at wall corners.
Disassembly is carried out in reverse
22
order (
).
ATTENTION! Improper use of the
device poses a risk of damage to
property! You should therefore
observe the following safety
instructions:
After finishing the work, it is essential
that you change the direction of rotati-
on back to the original state, i.e. the
drive arm is on the right-hand side as
seen by the user.
Only use the unit on areas with the
changed direction of rotation if that is
really necessary.
6.1.3 Using the surface brush on
rough surface structures e.g. tiles,
paving slabs, exposed aggregate
concrete, stoneware etc.
Place the switched-on device parallel on
the surface to be treated. Hold the device
at working angle and make sure that the
brush strip on the safety guard is just
above the ground. Walk at an even
steady pace and push the device in front
of you. Depending on the degree of soil-
ing, apply light to medium pressure on
the surface brush, adapt your pace of
work to the degree of soiling.
