• COLOR
Press this button to activate the three-colour laser patterns (red, green and yellow).

Press this button to activate the yellow laser. Press again to activate following colour sequence: red, green,
yellow, etc.
• SOUND ACTIVE
There are 10 built-in sound-active programs. Press this button to run the default program. Press a button 1 to 9 to
run a specific sound-active program.
• AUTO
There are 10 built-in automatic programs. Press this button to run the default program. Press a button 1 to 9 to
run a specific automatic program.
• PATTERN
There are 9 built-in static patterns numbered 1 to 9. Press this button and one of the numeric buttons (1 to 9) to
run the pattern.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

One of the most critical components in your VDP1001RGYLD9 is the optics. If the optics are dirty, you will
experience a loss in output power. To ensure that your projector output is at its maximum, it is recommended to
regularly clean your device, especially if the projector is subject to large amounts of dust. Take following notes into
consideration:
1. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
2. Use a new cotton bud for each pass. Do not use any coarse materials such as newspapers. These will scratch
the surface which will lead to loss in power output.
3. Only use reagent grade acetone or 90% isopropyl alcohol.
4. Take care not to apply too much force to avoid breaking the mirror.
5. Let the mirror dry before use.
6. Proceed with motions shown at right.

Solution
Turn on the device
Plug the device into the mains
Check that the fuse is intact and serviceable
Check the presence of a proper connection between the control
and the device
Individually check all cables for continuity on all three pins
Check the polarity of the DMX cable
Check the DMX cables and control DMX selection switch if
present
Reassign the DMX address via the DIP switches; remove and
reinsert the power cable
Clean the optics
Check that the fade is set at 100%
