Installation
• Guide the lead (max. 10 mm²) through the gland nut (3), thrust ring (5), gasket (6)
and the plug enclosure (2). If necessary, adjust the inner diameter of the gasket (6)
by cutting it to accommodate the lead diameter.
• Swing back (90°) the strain relief (7) so that it is positioned near the plug collar.
• Strip the lead and clamp it in the plug
collar. The stripped lead ends must be
completely introduced into the clam-
ping sleeve.
• Tighten the screws of the clamping
sleeve using 1.2 Nm torque.
• Correctly orient the lead.
• Swing the strain relief so that it lies next to the lead and mount this onto the lead.
The terminal clamps must not be subjected to tension (pulling forces) and the strain
relief must not damage the insulation of the lead.
• Replace the plug enclosure (2) and tighten the three screws (1) using 1.0 Nm.
• Press the gasket (6) into the plug enclosure (2), place the thrust ring (5) next to the
gasket (6) and tighten the gland nut (3).
7.1.3 Cable connection "Auxiliary contacts"
Figure 7-2: Cable connection to screwless terminals
• Cut-away layout of screwless terminal (1).
• Open (2) the terminal with a screwdriver (Blade 06 x 3,5 Form A to 5264 or ISO
2380-1). The screwdriver blade holds the CAGE CLAMP - Compact spring open so
that the conductor can be fed in.
• Feed in the prepared conductor (3).
• Remove the screwdriver. The conductor is securely clamped (4).
7.1.4 Protective-earth conductor connection
As a general rule, always connect to a protective earth conductor!
