Rough Grinding
When rough grinding do not apply pressure to the processed surface by rearing
down on the machine but move the wheel regularly backwards and forwards.
Special wheels shall be used for processing non-ferrous metals. Best results
when roughing can be achieved with the wheel inclined at 30° to the processed
surface. Never use cutting wheels for roughing operations. Usage of wheels
thicker than 6 mm is not recommended.
Clamp the workpiece if it does not remain stationary due to its own weight.
Do not strain the machine so heavily that it comes to a standstill.
Overload Protection
In order to protect the operator, motor and the tool, the concrete grinders are
equipped with thermal overload protection.
In case of permanent overload, a thermal sensor protects the motor against
destruction. In this case, the tool
be restarted after a
ON/OFF switch! The cooling period depends on the
winding and the ambient temperature.
Care and Maintenance
Before the beginning of maintenance or repair works you
have to disconnect the plug from the mains.
Repairs may be executed only by appropriately qualified and experienced
personnel. After every repair the machine has to be inspected by an electric
specialist. Due to its design, the machine needs a minimum of care and
maintenance. However, the following points always have to be observed:
