Mounting the protection guard (B):
Place the protection guard in non-operating position so that the four teeth
coincide with the four grooves in the bearing seat (see Fig.1+2). Press the
fastening lever (see Fig.3) to release it. Press the protection guard down and
rotate it in the necessary operating position (see Fig.4). Release the fastening
lever to a stable position in which the protection guard is fixed.The fixing lever
tooth enters into one of the guard grooves.
Rotating the protection guard (B) in a new operating position:
Adjust the protection guard in such a manner that sparking is prevented in the
direction of the operator.
Press the fastening lever (see Fig.3) to release it. Rotate the protection guard to
the necessary operating position. Release the fastening lever to a stable
position in which the protection guard is fixed. The fixing lever tooth enters into
one of the guard grooves.
The protection guard may be turned only upon actuation of the release
lever! Otherwise the power tool may not continue to be used under any
circumstances and must be taken to an after-sales service agent.
Removing the protection guard:
Press the fastening lever to release it (see Fig.3). Rotate the protection guard in
non-operating position so that the four teeth coincide with the four grooves in
the bearing seat (see Fig. 1+2). Remove the protection guard.
For cutting, always use the protection guard.
Switching on and off
The EZW 125 is equipped with a lock-off button against unintentional
switch-on.
Switching-on: push the on/off switch (D)
forward (1) and then
down (2)
Switching-off: release the on/off switch (D)
Changing the Cutting Discs
Attention!
The Cutting discs, spacer discs and the flange nut might heat up
enormously during operation. You could burn your hands or get cut or
ripped by the segments. Therefore, always use protective gloves when
changing the grinding wheel.
Attention!
Before any work on the tool, disconnect the plug from the mains!
