6.1
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Filter cleaning should be carried out at least once every month and whenever it's necessary according to the
level of dust in the installation place.
Open the plastic grid from the top (Rif. A6 Fig. 14) and remove the fi lter (Rif. A5 Fig. 14).
Clean out the fi lter by washing it with warm water.
CAUTION: Do not use hard brushes or blunt instruments to avoid damaging the fi lter.
Replace the fi lter (Ref. A5 Fig. 14) and close the plastic grid (Ref. A6 Fig. 14).

WARNING: Before you unplug the device from the pipes it is necessary to tighten the pipes
with the special squeeze-tube clamp (Ref. B5 Fig. 10) to prevent the escape of water from the
aquarium, once reconnected the unit to re-open the clamp.
Make sure that the operator can check from any point he has access that the plug remains dis-
connected.

Make sure that the plug is fully inserted into the power outlet
(Rif. A5 Fig. 4).
Check the proper operation of the pump (not supplied) (Rif.
A1 Fig. 12-13).
Insulate the walls of the aquarium and the pipes to reduce
heat loss.
Clean the air fi lter following the instruction (Chapter 6 Main-
tenance).
Re-establish the optimal ambient conditions.
The maximum ambient temperature allowed is 38°C (100°F).
Lack of gas in the compressor, contact the TECO S.r.l area
retailer.
Free the grate or place the unit in a suitable ambient.
Contact the TECO S.r.l area retailer.
Check the correct operation of the pump (not supplied) (Rif.
A1 Fig. 12-13).
Contact the TECO S.r.l area retailer.
Contact the TECO S.r.l area retailer.
Check eventually pipes obstructions.
Check the effi ciency of the aquarium's pump (not supplied).
Reduce as much as possible the pipes and insulate them.
Calibrate the temperature sensor as described in paragraph
