maintenance instructions.
Application
This device is an ankle unit to be used exclusively as part of a lower limb prosthesis, intended for

As an exception to our recommendation, Activity Level 3 and Activity Level 4* users may only use
this device based upon the outcome of a prosthetic assessment.

Typical of the community ambulator who has the ability to traverse most environmental barriers and
may have vocational, therapeutic, or exercise activity that demands prosthetic utilization beyond
simple locomotion.
Activity Level 4
Has the ability or potential for prosthetic ambulation that exceeds basic ambulation skills, exhibiting
high impact, stress, or energy levels. Typical of the prosthetic demands of the child, active adult, or
athlete.
Contraindications
This device is not suitable for competitive sports events. This type of user will be better served by
a specially designed prosthesis optimized for their needs.
