This instrument is designed for testing
fibre optic installations and so meets the safety
requirements of IEC 60825-1: 1994 (including
amendment A11: 1996) and IEC 60825-2: 1995
(including amendment A1: 1998).
Though this product does not generate any
optical hazards internally, it can be used to test
light sources that are of sufficient power and
wavelength that an optical hazard may exist.
