Disc type
This shows the type of disc that is currently loaded.
SACD: Super Audio CD
CD: Audio CD
o When a hybrid Super Audio CD is loaded, the playback area
type is shown (page 17).

Playback/repeat mode
This shows the playback/repeat mode (pages 19 and 20).

Information
During Super Audio CD playback or DSD signal input
This shows the DSD filter setting (page 27).
During music CD playback or PCM signal input
No indicator:
The upconversion function is not in use.
DSD DIRECT:
If DSDF (DSD filter) is set to OFF, this appears when a DSD
signal is input.
UPCONV:
The upconverter circuit will upconvert the signal before digi-
tal to analog conversion.
o The upconversion multiple is shown to the right of UPCONV
(page 25).
UPCONV DSD:
The upconverter circuit will convert the PCM signal to a DSD
signal before digital to analog conversion.
During MQA-CD playback or MQA file input
This shows MQA information.
