o Before plugging into a socket, it shall be ensured
that the mains voltage matches the voltage speci-
fied on the rating plate of the appliance.
o The appliance shall not be operated with a dam-
aged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunc-
tions, or has been damaged in any manner. It shall
be returned to the nearest authorized service facili-
ty for examination, repair or adjustment.
o The appliance shall always be unplugged when not
in use or when left unattended, and before disas-
sembling or cleaning. It must be unpluged by grasp-
ing the plug and never by pulling the cord.
o This appliance is not intended to be used with an
external timer or a separate remote control sys-
tem.
o After the air conditioner is installed, it shall be en-
sured that the power plug is firmly plugged into the
power outlet, and the power cord orderly placed,
to prevent someone from tripping or pulling out
the plug.
o No object or obstacle shall ever come into or block
the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner. Coo-
ling performance may be reduced or stopped com-
pletely.
