7 TROUBLESHOOTING
OPERATING PROBLEMS
Certain noises are quite normal when the fridge is working:
•
the coolant gas can make a gurgling noise as it flows through the circuits
•
the compressor may make a purring noise, especially when starting
•
the fridge's materials may make a cracking noise when expanding or contracting
The appliance does not work.
The fridge vibrates or makes a noise
The fridge is too cold/not cold enough
The bulb does not light up
The compressor does not restart after changing the
temperature
There is water on the floor or the racks

If the above solutions do not solve your problem, NEVER TRY TO REPAIR THE APPLIANCE YOURSELF.
Contact your nearest Technical Assistance centre.
Any repairs that are made to your appliance must be done by a qualified professional authorised to work on the brand..
When calling, give the complete reference of your appliance (model, type, serial number). You can find this information
on your warranty certificate and on the ID plate.
PROBLEM
THIS APPLIANCE RESPECTS THE EU DIRECTIVES
Check that the plug is properly inserted, that the fuse has not
blown and that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
Check that it is level. Adjust the feet.
Check the setting of the thermostat and adjust to a suitable
temperature.
Check the bulb, and replace if necessary. If the problem is not
solved, check that the appliance is properly connected.
This is quite normal. The compressor only starts after a delay.
The hole through which the defrosting water is evacuated is
blocked. Unblock it with a knitting needle.
