This WALK mode position is to be used during an ascent, never during a
descent. Moreover, while in WALK mode, the boot must not be latched in the
heelpiece.
HEEL PIECE
The heelpiece can be placed into 3 different positions, 2 uphill positions and 1
downhill position:
SKI mode (descent)

LOW position (uphill)

HIGH position (uphill)

LOWER position:
In the LOW position, the heel part of the boots must be positioned on the first
hell riser (10)
In such a position, the toe piece must be set in WALK Mode.
