ACTIVITIES PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE AIR CONDITIONER for the
TSCS 8xx- 10xx models
a.
Determine the position where the indoor unit and outdoor unit will be installed. See Chapter 5 and
6.

ATTENTION
• Take into account the place where the condensed water can be drained.
• The distance between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit can be maximum 4 meter because
of the length of the piping.
b.
Mount the mounting plate of the indoor unit. See Chapter 7.1
c.
Drill a hole for the piping. See Chapter 7.2
d.
Guide the piping through the hole in the wall and mount the indoor unit, with the hooks at the back,
on the upper hooks of the installation plate and check if the unit is secure. Don't engage lower hooks
at this moment.

The piping package connected to the indoor unit is heavy. Never leave it hanging to the indoor
unit unsupported. Support the whole piping package during the mounting of the indoor unit. As
a result of the weight of the piping package, the piping of the indoor unit and the piping of the
outdoor unit can bend easily or even break. Damaged piping of the indoor unit and the piping
package which are the result of unprofessional installation are not covered by the warranty.
Bending the refrigerant piping at the rear of the device has to be conducted extremely careful! The piping is
made in copper. If the marked part is bend more than once, a physical process will cause cracking of the cop-
per. These kind of cracks can cause leakage of refrigerant; this is not covered by the warranty. See Picture 2.

Guide the condensed water hose through the hole in the wall and connect is to the hose which is
mounted on the indoor unit. See Chapter 9.1

TIP
The condensed water hose can be connected easily by pulling the bottom of the indoor unit
approximately 5 cm away from the wall and to fill this space temporary with filling material to
prevent the unit touching the wall again. See Picture 3.

Now secure the lower hooks of the indoor unit to the hooks of the mounting plate.
g.
Place the outdoor unit, see chapter 5.2.
h.
Attach the "quick-connector" fitting to the fitting on the outdoor unit. Connect het power cable
with earth cable between indoor and outdoor unit. See Chapter 8.
i.
Check for leaking refrigerant. See Chapter 13.
j.
Check if the air conditioner has been installed correct.
k.
Insert the plug in the socket and check the operation of the air conditioner. See Chapter 11.1
