MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
D 4 M10 x 40 x 1.5mm Bolts (10.9 Grade), Lock Washers and Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
E 1 M10 x 25 x 1.5mm Bolts, Nyloc Nut and bolt cap
EP 1 Electrical Plate (ZEP2)
FITTING
1. Remove bumper (5 screws on lower edge, 2 screws beneath light cluster (remove light clusters), 1 screw inside boot
beneath light cluster, 1 plastic pin in centre of bumper on boot shut panel, 3 screws and 1 push in clip around wheel
arch.) Slide bumper backwards off side panel sliders.
2. Remove the rearmost exhaust hanger and heat shied to allow access to side mountings.
3. Insert Cross Bar (A) inside chassis and loosely attach to existing side mountings (remove tape covering holes) using
Bolts (D) with Flat Washers. Fully Tighten Bolts.
4. Locate centre of bumper and cut as shown below.
5. Loosely secure Neck (C) with Bolts (F) (10.9 Grade) with Spacers (Z) and fully tighten all bolts.
6. Refit Bumper, exhaust heat shield etc and attach Electrical Plate (EP) using Bolt (E) and Bolt Cap.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M10 - 69Nm (10.9 grade), M12 - 95 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
