The device may not be used by people who are insensitive to

heat and may not be used by other vulnerable people who are
unable to react to overheating.
Do not use the device if it should still be damp. It must be

completely dry before it can be switched back on again.
Do not switch on the device when it is folded up or allow the

device to cool down before it is folded up and stored away.
Do not insert any safety pins, drawing pins or other pointed
■
objects into the device.
Do not use the mains adapter with another device and never
■
use the device with another mains adapter.
The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of
■
children and animals. Incorrect operation may lead to injuries
and electric shocks.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
■
when left unattended and before cleaning it.
Check the device for damage each time before you use it. The
■
device may only be used if the device and connecting cable
have no visible signs of damage! If the device or the connecting
cable are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer,
customer service department or a specialist workshop in order
to avoid any hazards.
Follow the instructions in the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter!

Dangers for the Following Groups of People
■ The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doctor:
– people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants;
– people with heart disease or who suff er from epilepsy;
– people who have back complaints or spinal disorders;
– people who suff er from osteomyelitis, bone infl ammation (in particular if the spinal
column is damaged) or from osteoporosis;
– women who are pregnant or have just given birth;
– people who suff er from circulation problems or thrombosis;
– people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment is not yet
complete;
– people with physical abnormalities;
– people who have a malignant tumour.
■ If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a responsible doctor.
■ Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.
