6. Operation
Important
• Set the correct operating voltage (100-120 V or 220-240 V) before using the device for the first
time.
Warning
• Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive surface. Risk of electric shock!
• Make sure that your hands are dry! There is a risk of electric shock!
• The professional nozzle [1] and the hair dryer may become very hot depending on the switch
setting and period of use – risk of burns and fire!
• Do not touch the professional nozzle [1] during use as it will heat up. Risk of fire and burns!
• Place the hair dryer on non-flammable surfaces only. Risk of fire!
• Ensure that no hair can be directly sucked into the device. Risk of fire!
Important
• Do not jam the mains cable [5] in drawers or doors, for example.
• Untangle the mains cable [5] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [5] and do not pull or route it over/on sharp, pointed
objects or hot surfaces. Damaged or tangled mains cables increase the risk of electric shock!
Note
A slight odour initially develops after switching on the device for the first time. This is normal and not
harmful to your health. Allow the device to run for three to five minutes. After that you can use the
device as normal.
Drying the hair
> Switch on the travel hair dryer at the sliding switch [7]:

Low air flow, warm air

High air flow, hot air
> You can use the rotating professional nozzle [1] to adjust the direction of the hot air as required.
> Dry and/or style your hair as desired.
> The cold level offers the perfect styling finish. It cools down your hair and holds it in place for a
better result. You can enable the cold level at any time by holding down the button. As soon as
you release the button, the previously selected heat level returns.
> After each use/at each break, always switch off the travel hair dryer at the sliding switch [7] (setting 0).
> After each use, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
> Allow the device to cool down.
> Do not wind the mains cable around the device!
