10. Setting up the Model
Before starting with the assembly of the model, make sure the work surface is suitable. To achieve excellent flight performance, your model is made of light
moulded foam. The disadvantage of this material is, however, a sensitive surface. The slightest inattention when assembling the model can cause ugly dents or
even holes.
a) Mounting the Elevator Units
Insert the two screws (1) through the tail boom (2). Then push the tail boom
onto the elevator unit (3) from top to bottom.
Push the elevator unit onto the fuselage from above and screw it tight in the tail
boom (1) using the screws. Observe that the rudder horn (2) of the elevator
must be on the left and point downwards when viewed in flight direction.
Push the tail wheel tappet (1) into the rudder guide (2).
