b) Change manager password
Make sure that the access system is in the programming mode.
To prevent abuse we recommend replacing the factory preset manager password 9999 with an
individual password immediately with initial set-up. To change the manager password enter the
following character string using the remote control:
0XXXX#XXXX#
XXXX is the new manager password.
The manager password must consist of 4 fi gures.
c) Adding and Deleting Users
There are three ways for adding users to the fi ngerprint system:
- by remote control
- by user ID
- by manager ID
Adding/deleting user by remote control (usual procedure)
To add a user by remote control, enter the following:
* Manager Password # 7 Apply fi ngerprint to the transparent glass area 2x # *
To delete a user by remote control, enter the following:
* Manager Password # 8 Apply fi ngerprint to the transparent glass area 1x # *
If a fi ngerprint is to be added, the fi nger to be added must be placed on the transparent
glass area 2x. During programming of the fi ngerprint, the LED is lit orange and the back-
lighting fl ashes blue quickly.
When a fi ngerprint was successfully programmed, this is confi rmed by the system by the
LED changing from orange to green after the fi nger was applied twice. A brief signal also
sounds.
Adding/deleting user by user ID
Proceed as follows to add a user:
* Manager password # 1 Desired user ID # Apply fi ngerprint to transparent glass area 2x # *
The user ID can be any number between 3 - 120. Attention: ID1 and ID2 are reserved for
manager fi ngerprint. (See chapter 10c). Every ID can only be assigned once to a single user.
