11. Activate access system
After the fi ngerprint access system has been properly installed and connected it can then be acti-
vated. Now, switch on the mains voltage. Then a brief signal sounds. The status LED on the front
fl ashes red, the blue backlighting fl ashes quickly. The system is now in standby mode.
If no input is made or the motion sensor records no motion, the system switches to sleep mode
after 20 seconds.
12. Inserting/changing the remote control's batteries
If the range of the remote control supplied is reduced, the battery (type:
CR2025, 3 V/DC) has to be replaced.
To properly replace the battery, proceed as follows:
• Pull out the battery holder from the remote control as illustrated on
the right.
• Remove the used battery.
• Insert a type CR2025 (3 V/DC) battery into the battery holder, observing
the polarity (the battery's plus polarity should be facing the back of the
remote control).
• Carefully slide the battery holder back into the remote control.
13. Programming the access system
a) Use the factory preset manager password to call up the programming mode
(with initial programming)
A certain character sequence must be entered to call up the programming mode. This character
sequence contains a manager password.
The factory preset manager password is: 9999
To call up the programming mode enter the following character sequence using the remote con-
trol:
* 9999 #
9999 is the factory preset manager password. This must of course be replaced later by an indi-
vidually set manager password.
If input is correct, the LED fl ashes green briefl y and then lights up red.
You are now in programming mode and can make the settings described in the following.
The programming mode can be left with the button „*" on the included infrared remote control.
Please note that the device exits programming mode automatically if there is no input for
60 seconds.
