10. Information on how to handle the access system

a) Sleep mode and standby mode
In standby mode, the access system is waiting for input. The red LED fl ashes slowly, the blue
backlighting fl ashes quickly.
If no input is made after approx. 20 seconds, sleep mode is activated to lower power consump-
tion. During sleep mode, the red LED fl ashes slowly, the blue backlighting is off. When the fi nger-
print access system registers motion, standby mode is reactivated.
b) Remote control functions
Users can use the infrared remote control to call up the programming mode. In the programming
mode the following applications can be used:
change manager code, add fi ngerprints, delete fi ngerprints, delete all previously saved fi nger-
prints, edit/adapt relay delay time
c) Manager and fi ngerprint functions
You can set two manager fi ngerprints. Each fi ngerprint also has an ID.

ID numbers 3 to 120:
d) Door opening button
As in sections "8a) Connections and 8b) Connection Example" a button can be connected to the
yellow connection cable. If this button is activated then the relay is activated. This activates the
door opener connected to the relay.
The relay delay time (=door opening time) can be set between 0 and 10 seconds. The default fac-
tory setting is 5 seconds. The relay delay time (=door opening time) can be edited/adjusted using
the infrared remote control.
