2. Intended Use

This fi ngerprint access system is used for the access control of doors (e.g. offi ces). It is ideally
suited for retrofi tting and/or upgrading your entrance doors. The access system has a relay output
(NO/COM/NC; max. 3 amps) to connect an electric door opener. A door opening button can also
be connected.
The connected electric door opener can therefore be activated using fi ngerprint recognition or
the connected door opening button. A maximum of 120 fi ngerprints can be saved in the access
system. The access system is programmed using the infrared remote control or a fi ngerprint man-
ager (ID1 and/or ID2).
The access system's power supply is 12V/DC (+/-10%). The infrared remote control's power supply is
a 3V coin cell battery (type: CR2025).
The access system is suitable for outdoor use (IP44). The remote control must not get damp or
wet.
Any use other than the intended use described above is not permitted and may harm the product
and result in short circuits, fi re, electric shocks etc. The entire product must not be modifi ed or
converted. Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating instructions. Please
read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.
