NTENDED USE
The product described by this manual is a dental patient chair.
The equipment is designed for lifting and holding the patient in a proper working position during dental diagnosis or therapy.
It can be used by dental field specialists in private clinics, hospitals, specialized surgeries.
This equipment needs that the premises electrical system is conforming to the specification described in the "installation" sec-
tion. Usage near equipment monitoring the patient's vital signs is discouraged.
WARNING.
The equipment was developed and manufactured only for dental use. No other kind of use is permitted. It is
furthermore not permitted to perform any modification of the equipment or its parts, without a previous
written authorization of the manufacturer.
2.2. G
ENERAL FEATURES
2.2.1.
Basic version.
A dental patient chair model Sting includes the following features:
Completely electromechanical seat lifting/lowering and backrest tilting movements;
Compensated backrest tilting, up to the horizontal position;
Anatomical backrest;
Multi-articulated headrest;
Complete symmetry, for right-handed and/or left-handed professionals;
Foot control on the base;
Security STOPS on the backrest and on the lifting arm;
Return to "zero" position automatic program;
Rinse position automatic program;
Low voltage controls: 5 V.
2.2.2.
Accessories.
The chair can also be equipped with different accessories, depending on the working needs of the professional, as well as the
comfort needs of the patient to be treated. In detail, the following optional are available:
ELLE MOBILE or ELLE-2 MOBILE type headrest;
Magnetic pillow model C95;
Magnetic pillow model C2002;
Right or left armrest(s);
Device for programming three different working positions;
Trendelenburg movement;
Infra-red remote control;
Dental unit stabilizer.
The operation and the performance of these accessories are described in chapter 7.
2.3. W
ARRANTY
The Warranty Certificate is delivered together with the equipment. If such certificate would not be sent, it must be immediately
requested to the dealer. The Warranty Certificate must be completely filled in and sent back to the manufacturer within 8 days
from the date of delivery of the equipment. If this procedure is not observed, the warranty conditions are not valid and the servic-
ing technicians will be compelled to completely charge any needed repairing.
NOTE.
Upholstery damage caused by contact with clothes or clothing accessories (ex: belts) having metal, sharp, pointed
or similar parts will not be replaced under warranty.

DENTIFICATION AND LABELLING
The chair identification label, where you can find the chair model, the serial number and other information, is placed in the base
of the chair under the seat. Figure 1 shows the label position and a facsimile.
