Function check

Fill the condensate collecting vessel with water.

Check whether the appliance switches itself on and then, when
the water level drops, off again.
»
If the alarm contact has been connected, fill the condensate
collecting vessel with water until the alarm is activated. When
the water reaches the alarm level, the appliance should switch
itself off.

Taking the appliance out of use

If you want to take the appliance out of use in the event of a
malfunction or for maintenance and cleaning work, interrupt the
power supply by removing the mains plug.

Troubleshooting

6.1

The appliance does not start

»
Check whether the mains plug is properly connected.
»
Check the mains power supply.
»
Check whether the fuse is faulty and, if necessary, replace it
with a new fuse.
»
Check whether the power supply cable is faulty. Measure the
resistance in the cable. If necessary, replace the cable.
»
Check whether the float is firmly in place.
»
Check whether the appliance is positioned horizontally.
»
Clean the condensate collecting vessel.
»
Clean the float.
»
If necessary, apply a little oil to the switch linkage.
»
Check whether the condensate inlet hose is blocked. If necessary,
clean the condensate inlet hose.

The appliance is not pumping

Check whether the float is firmly in place.
»
Check whether the appliance is positioned horizontally.
»
Clean the condensate collecting vessel.
»
Clean the float.
»
If necessary, apply a little oil to the switch linkage.
»
Check whether the condensate inlet hose is blocked.
»
If necessary, clean the condensate inlet hose.
»
Check whether the condensate drain hose is blocked.
»
If necessary, clean the condensate drain hose.
»
Ensure that the conveyor wheel in the pump's motor is not stuck.

The power supply for this appliance cannot be

replaced. In the event that the cable becomes
damaged, the appliance must be scrapped.

Maintenance and cleaning

Clean the interior of the appliance on a regular basis.
Danger of electrocution!
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the
appliance.

Remove the condensate collecting vessel.
»
Clean the condensate collecting vessel with a commercially
available detergent. Ensure that the float does not become
twisted and there is no residue left in the collecting vessel.
»
Replace the condensate collecting vessel.
»
Carry out a check to ensure that the pump and alarm are working
properly.
If the pump's motor has been unscrewed from
!
the collecting vessel, the screws must not be
overtightened when replacing them. Otherwise, the
conveyor wheel could lock up.
