Ensure that no liquid can flow from the drain back into the drain
hose.

Power supply

Connect the appliance to the power supply. The appliance is
supplied with its own mains plug.

Alarm contact connection
The alarm contact is made floating at 250 V~ with a breaking
capability of 1 A inductive load and 1 A resistive load. The alarm
contact, to which you can connect a low-voltage warning device,
is supplied from the factory in the form of an opener. This means
that the contact opens when the point of alarm is reached.
You can access the alarm contact by removing the motor cover.

Release the screw securing the motor cover.

Push the snap-in tab towards the motor cover.

To be able to use the alarm contact as a closer, remove the flat
pin connector from the middle contact on the alarm switch and
attach the flat pin connector to the upper contact.
4.5.1 Alarm contact as an opener

When wired up as an opener, the alarm contact can be connected
in series with the EVU contact on the main appliance's control
unit. As soon as the alarm contact becomes connected, the power
supply to the controlling unit is interrupted and so the main
appliance is switched off.
4.5.2 Alarm contact as a closer

If the alarm contact is wired up as a closer, you can interrupt
the EVU contact on the control unit of the main appliance with a
control relay.
