Trouble Shooting

PROBLEM
Debris caught in impeller
Air leakage on suction
side
Engine not performing
Damage to mechanical
seal
Suction lift is too high
Suction hose is too long
or smaller in diameter
Leakage of water from
discharge hose
Worn out impeller
Air goes in from suction
side
Insufficient priming water
inside pump
Drain plug is loose
Damage of mechanical seal
Wrong suction hose used
Water leakage between engine Damaged mechanical
and pump
SOLUTION
Dismantle & clean impeller
Check suction hose and
suction connections
Check & repair engine
see Mi-T-M dealer
Replace mechanical seal
see Mi-T-M dealer
Make suction lift lower
Shorten suction hose or
enlarge diameter
Stop leakage of water
Replace the impeller

Check hose and suction
connections (See Solution 2)
Pour more water into
pump casing for priming
Tighten drain plug firmly.
Replace mechanical seal

Use correct suction hose
