Stop Reproduction
Press STOP to stop disc-reproduction.

Suggestions
• PRE-STOP-function (with DVDs only)
This function allows to memorize the position in which
reproduction was stopped, in order to resume from
that position when DVD-player starts again.
1 - Press n only once.
2 - Press 4 o resume Replay
Reproduction will start from the point where it was
interrupted.
• Cancel PRE-STOP-function
Press n while in PRE-STOP-mode or eject disc.
Note:
• Some discs do NOT perfectly memorize the position
where Playback was interrupted.
• Video-CDs:
Press n during reproduction.
1 - When the PCB-mode is de-activated, Playback will
stop. Press PLAY to start from the beginning.
2 - When the PCB-mode is activated, Playback will stop
but, pressing PLAY, you return to the main menu.
Slow Reproduction
By pressing SLOW on the remote-control unit during re-
production, speed will decrease from 1/2x to 1/16x.
Press PLAY to resume normal Playback.
Fast forward / Backward
Research
During reproduction, press
Chapter and
7 (fast backward) or
Track
8 (fast forward)
Each time you press the keys 78,
reproduction-speed will change into
Normal playback → 2x → 4x → 8x → 20x
Press 4 to restore normal Playback.
NOTE:
During Fast Forward or Fast Backward, DVDs and Vi-
deo-CDs will have no sound and no sub-titles.
CD-reproduction will, on the contrary, maintain the
sound while operating in Fast Forward and Fast Back-
ward.
Research of Chapter / Track-Beginning
During playback, press 9 or :
Each time you press one of these two keys, you will change
over to the beginning of the selected Chapter/Track.
:: By pressing this key, reproduction will start from the
beginning of the next Chapter/Track.
9: By pressing this key, reproduction will start from the
beginning of the previous Chapter/Track.
Additional Information
Chapters are the sub-divisions of a film or the musical
contents of a DVD.
Tracks are the sub-divisions of a film or the musical
contents of a CD or Video.
