1 Use the crank (M) to bring down the arm (1).
Check that the lever (P1) activates the limit
switch (FC) 1mm before T1 reaches the fixed
stopper (TF).

Check that the lever (P2) activates the limit
switch (FC) 1mm before T2 reaches the fixed
stopper (TF).
KUBAR barriers are supplied balanced for the arm
supplied corresponding to its denomination, i.e.:
• KUBAR 3 is supplied balanced for aluminium bars of
80 x 20 x 1.2 mm (0.63 kg/m) of 3m long
• KUBAR 6, for aluminium arms of 80 x 30 x 2 mm
(1.145 kg/m) of 6m long
• KUBAR 8, for aluminium arms of 80 x 30 x 2 mm
(1.145 kg/m) of 8m long
It is not necessary to balance the barrier when the
supplied arm is used without modifying its length or
adding any item which alters its weight.
In order to modify the length or type of arm, or to add
items which alter its weight, it is necessary to re-
establish the balance, replacing the springs (M) and
readjusting the torsion distance (X) of the springs. Use
the following charts to replace the springs or adjust
their torsion.
