WARNING!: always remove the battery before any
maintenance work on the machine. Allow your Authorized
Service Center to repair any damage to your product.
The following is a list of the maintenance operations that must
be carried out on the machine. Most of the chapters are
described in the Maintenance section. The user must perform
only the maintenance and service work described in this
Operator's Manual. More extensive work should be carried out
by the Authorized Service Center workshop.
Maintenance
Clean the outside of the machine with
a clean, dry cloth. Never use water.
Keep the handles dry, clean, and free
from oil and grease.
Make sure the switch lever works
correctly and is not damaged.
Make sure the switch lever and safety
lever work correctly in terms of safety.
Check that all controls are not
damaged and are operational.
Check that the guard is not damaged
or broken. Replace the guard if it has
suffered a major impact or is broken.
Check that the trimmer head is not
damaged or cracked. Replace the
trimmer head if necessary.
Check that nuts and screws are
tightened.
Check that the battery is intact.
Check the battery charge status.
Check that the battery charger is intact
and operational.
Check the connections between the
battery and the machine, and check
the connection between the battery
and battery charger as well.
WARNING! For your safety and the safety of others:

After each use, remove the battery from its housing and
check for any damage.

Proper maintenance is essential to maintain the original
good working order and safety of the machine over time.

Keep nuts and screws tightened, to make sure the machine
is always in safe working conditions.

Never use the machine with worn or damaged parts.
Damaged parts must always be replaced and never
repaired.
-
Only use original spare parts. Parts that are not of the same
quality could damage the machine and harm safety.
WARNING! During maintenance operations, remove the
battery from its housing.

To avoid overheating and damaging the motor, the cooling air
intake grilles must always be kept clean and free from grass and
debris.
8.2 TRIMMER HEAD
FITTING THE TRIMMER HEAD (Fig.10)
Insert the upper flange (A) and the washer (B). Insert the head
stop pin (C) in the appropriate hole (D) and tighten by rotating
the head (E) clockwise with the sole force of the hands.
To disassemble, insert the head stop pin (C) in the appropriate
hole (D) and loosen by rotating counter-clockwise.
Always use the same diameter as the original thread so as not
to overload the motor (Fig.8).
To lengthen the nylon string, tap the head on the ground while
working.
NOTE: Do not tap the head on cement or cobbled surfaces: it
could be dangerous.
Replacing the LOAD&GO trimmer head (Fig.6)
1.
Cut 5.2 m of Ø 2.0 mm nylon string.
2.
Align the arrows and insert the string into the head
(Fig.6.1) until it comes out from the opposite end (Fig.6.2).
3.
Divide the string into two equal parts (Fig.6.3) then load
the head by rotating the knob (Fig.6.4).
WARNING! Always wear protective gloves during
maintenance operations. Do not carry out maintenance
with the motor hot.

WARNING! Using an incorrect cutting device increases
the risk of accidents! Only use the recommended cutting
devices and guards and follow the instructions.
8.3 MANAGING THE BATTERY
1.
The battery must be stored in environments with
temperatures between 0° and +45°C. If storing the
machine in places where these limits could be exceeded,
remove the battery and store it in a suitable place.
2.
During use, the battery is protected against total discharge
by a protective device that switches off the machine and
stops its operation.
3.
The battery comes with a protective device that prevents
recharging if the ambient temperature is not between 0°
and +45°C.
4.
The battery can be recharged at any time, even partially,
without the risk of damaging it.
8.4 CONSERVAZIONE
At the end of each work session, thoroughly clean the machine of
dust and debris, repair or replace defective parts.
