1.3 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
This machine must be used with care. To this end, the machine

precautions for use. Their meaning is explained below. We also
recommend that you carefully read the safety rules given in the
relevant chapter of this manual.

2) Electrical safety
a) Avoid bodily contact with earthed or grounded surfaces
such as pipes, radiators, cookers and refrigerators. The risk of
electric shock increases if the body is earthed or grounded.
b) Do not expose the power tools to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric
shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, check what you are doing and use common sense
when using a power tool. Do not use the power tool while
you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. A moment of distraction while operating a
power tool may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use protective clothing. Always wear eye protection. The use
of protective equipment such as dust masks, non-slip
footwear, protective helmets or ear muffs, reduces personal
injury.
c) Avoid accidentally starting up the tool. Make sure the tool is
switched off before inserting the battery, grasping or
carrying the power tool. Carrying a power tool with the
finger on the switch and the battery installed promotes
accidents.
