Applying the sealant
• Make sure the working area is clean and dry (remove old sealant, where applicable).
• Hold the tool in a slightly inclined position and move it, with the trigger C being pressed, carefully and at an even speed
along the gap or crack to be filled.
• Make sure that the sealant gets in full contact with both surfaces that are to be sealed.
• In order to stop the flow of sealant, just release the trigger C. The automatic drip-stop function will prevent more
material from being pressed out of the cartridge thereafter.
• The tool will automatically switch into the power-saving mode after a few minutes. This can be seen from the LED light
which goes out.
• Smooth down the sealant with a suitable tool and remove any superfluous material.
• Remove all possible material residues at the cartridge nozzle and at the caulking gun without any delay.
Electronic overload protection
• It will stop the motor automatically, if too much pressure is exerted on the cartridge, and thus prevent any damage
to the tool and to the cartridge.
• In order to avoid any overload, you should always ensure that
- solidified material (residues) is removed from the nozzle (use a new nozzle tip, if necessary),
- the cartridge is neither damaged nor frozen,
- the cartridge compartment is free from sealant.
Changing a cartridge
• Before removing an empty cartridge, move the piston plunger completely back.
• In order to do so, press the multi-functional switch G backward into the „Return" position (Fig. 8). Then release
the automatic return function of the piston plunger by briefly pressing the trigger C. This action will take approx. 2 min,
during which time you can switch off the caulking gun and prepare the next cartridge for being inserted.
• Now remove the empty cartridge by pressing both release levers of the locking mechanism for the cartridge at the
same time. Pull out the cartridge from the caulking gun with your other hand (Fig. 5).
• Insert the next cartridge as described in the section „Inserting a cartridge" above (Fig. 4).
After finishing work
• After you have finished work, put the multi-functional switch G in its „Neutral" position (Fig. 9). The LED light will go
out immediately.
• Also put the multi-functional switch G in its „Neutral" position (Fig. 9), if you intend to take the caulking gun
somewhere else.
• Always separate the cartridge from the caulking gun, when the latter needs to be transported or stored.
In such case, move the piston plunger B completely back.
