9. Press the piston plunger with handle [12] downwards and turn it anticlockwise (Fig. 5).
► Piston plunger with handle is locked.
Spraying
Observe the instructions in the Chapter "Safety".
Only operate the appliance when it is vertical or hanging straight down.
Avoid droplets of spray drifting onto surfaces which are not to be treated.
Follow the cleaning agent manufacturer's instructions!
10. Hang the appliance over the shoulder. (Fig. 11)
☞
To avoid dripping afterwards, on first spraying hold the spraying pipe upwards and operate the shutoff
valve until no more liquid and air mixture escapes from the jet.
11. Operate the shutoff valve [6]. (Fig. 12)
► Spraying begins.
12. Observe the optimum spraying pressure (→ Table 2) on the piston manometer [11] (Fig. 10).
Spraying pressure Amount sprayed with the flat spray jet
1.5 bar
2.0 bar
3.0 bar
13. If the spray pressure falls by more than 0.5 bar from optimum, pump a little extra.
☞
When liquid mixed with air escapes from the jet, the container is empty.
After use
Observe the instructions in the Chapter "Safety".
1. Lift up and hold the red button of the piston manometer [11] until the container is no longer under pressure.
(Fig. 4)
2. Lock the piston plunger with handle [12]. (Fig. 5)
3. Unscrew the pump [2] from the container. (Fig. 6)
Collect and dispose of the residue in accordance with current laws and regulations.
Follow the cleaning agent manufacturer's instructions!
4. Empty the appliance and rinse it through with clean water.
5. Wipe it over with a damp cloth.
6. To dry out and store them, keep container [1] and pump [2] separately in a dry, frostfree place, protected
from the sun's rays (Fig. 13).
After use, clean the protective equipment, and wash down thoroughly.
Care and maintenance
Observe the instructions in the Chapter "Safety".
After using on 50 occasions, but at least once a year:
●
Unscrew the pump [2] from the container. (Fig. 6)
●
Take the pump [2] apart.
a) Unlock the piston plunger with handle [12].
b) Withdraw the piston plunger with handle [12] to the stop out of the cylinder pipe and turn it anticlockwise.
(Fig. 14)
c) Separate the piston plunger with handle [12] and cylinder pipe [2]. (Fig. 14)
●
Grease the collar. (Fig. 16)
